Paths

Woldies is a mixture of cut grass paths, compacted woodland paths and wheelchair friendly gravel paths.

We believe Woldies is a wheelchair accessible site and will continue to make improvements to ensure it stays that way. After listening to feedback from our visitors, a new wheelchair friendly footpath has been constructed in early 2025 from the main visitor entrance right to the top of the park.

Woldies has lots of benches and seating situated around the park, ideal for those who need frequent rests. Following the advice from Danny’s Grandma, your next bench is always within eye sight, so you know how much further it is to walk.

Parking

Parking is free for visitors.

Woldies has 3 large car parks, all parking bays are clearly shown and a minimum of 2.5m wide. This allows for ease of unloading, especially young children, buggy’s and luggage.

Disabled parking is clearly signposted near to the main visitor entrance and available to disabled badge holders.

Parking for larger vehicles and motorhomes is available in the 2 overflow carparks.

Coach and mini bus parking is reserved pre visit and is easily accommodated.

A 5mph speed limit is enforced within the parking area and main driveway.

Our car park area has been extended for 2025, so there is ample parking at Woldies for all our visitors.

Sensory or additional support

Please get in touch if there is anything we can do to assist with your visit. We are a small family team and we are happy to help in any way we can.

Visitor feedback tells us Woldies provides brilliant sensory experiences. We want to remove barriers so that everyone can access nature and experience Woldies in the best way for them.
